Chapter 1 Engaged To Another Man?

Mapel's POV

Mapel's POV "Are you really going to marry him? Mapel, I don't want you to regret it later," the person on the other side asked. I held back the tears that were about to fall, took a deep breath before replying, "What does it matter to you? Do you still see yourself as my brother?" I had no idea what right he had to query me, when he was the first one to reject me. Now, I have met someone new. After hanging up the phone, I returned to the engagement banquet, but my fiancé Tory was nowhere to be seen. I tried calling him, but strangely, he didn't pick up the first time. On the second attempt, his phone was switched off, leaving me puzzled. But with guests to attend to, I didn't have time to worry about him. It wasn’t until I went to the restroom that I heard a woman's gasp accompanied by a man's deep breathing. "You... like this... sister? Hmm...will... make her... angry..." "It's fine if she's angry, just don't be mad." "Why are you being so naughty? I hate you, ah! Be gentle! You're hurting me." Just a few words, but they sent chills down my spine. Listening to the sounds inside, I didn’t need to guess what was happening. The man’s voice confirmed that the person inside was my fiancé. "Moira... I won't marry her. The engagement is just for show. You can trust me because you're the only one in my heart." He promised in the most passionate moment while kissing her rosy lips. The faint sound of running water slipped through the partition, echoing in my ears. I stood frozen in place, my face blank and expressionless. Moira was my sister, the daughter my biological parents had adopted and raised for over ten years. While on the other hand, I returned six months ago. Immediately I returned home, I was introduced to Tory. I was told that he was supposed to be my fiancé and I was asked to accept him. Someone else had rejected me before and I was still hurt. So, I agreed because I thought that he was a decent guy. Little did I know that he was already involved with my sister and now they were doing such a shameful thing at my own engagement banquet! I never really liked Tory to begin with, and this time, it was them who had no shame! I discreetly took out my phone, approached quietly, and recorded the scene until they were done. I returned to the banquet, and after a while, Tory appeared as well. He looked at me seriously and said, "Moira is hurt, I'm taking her to the hospital for a check-up." After saying that, he tried to leave without my permission. I stopped him and suggested. "There are other people who can take her to the hospital, you’re not the only one.” "Mapel, you have to understand that you were the one who planned this engagement party. It’s your responsibility for Moira getting hurt but I don’t blame you at all, how can you let someone else take her? Besides, she needs me more than you do, so I have to go with her. Let go of my hand." He stated firmly, making it clear that his decision was final and he wouldn’t allow me to challenge him. He thought that I would definitely compromise for him. However, when I heard his words, I released his hands. He looked at me with relief, "Thank God, you're sensible ..." But the next moment, he became speechless. Because the engagement vows on the big screen had turned into the video of their affair a short while ago. Everyone present was shocked as comments started coming from all directions. "Isn't that Mapel's sister with her fiancé?" "Yeah, how did they end up together?" "Remind me, this is Mapel and Tory's engagement party, right?" "Mapel can’t even control her man, I wonder how she's going to handle this." Merry handed me the microphone with a determined look on her eyes. She was my best friend who always stood by me unconditionally. After recording the video, I immediately sent it to her. Without a word, she’d figured out my mind. I took the microphone and apologized to the guests present, "I'm sorry for showing you something unpleasant, but I needed you to understand why I’m cancelling the wedding, and my reason is on the screen. From today onwards, Tory and I have no relationship, he is no longer my fiancé." The moment I finished speaking, Tory's anger couldn't be contained, "Mapel, are you out of your mind? What do you intend on achieving with this?" I smiled at him with the microphone in my hand, "staying away from you is the best decision." He wanted to argue with me, but his phone rang. Without hesitation, he asked, "Hello, Moira, how are you?" "Tory, I feel really bad. How long will it take for you to talk to my sister? If not, I can go to the hospital by myself." "Don't move, I'll be right there." Tory hung up the phone, clenched his jaw and pointed a finger at me, "Mapel, just know that I won't forgive you that easily for this. Don't cry and beg me to marry you later!" After he left, Merry and I cleaned up the mess from the engagement ceremony together. When I got home after an eventful night, I was stunned when I pushed the door open. I didn't expect that there was someone inside.

CHAPTER TWO

Chapter 2 Take A Look At Your Fiancé

Ramsden's POV Coming over at this hour wasn't the best timing, but I couldn't stand watching her get engaged to that man. "Come here," I commanded her as she saw me standing at the door, visibly stunned for a moment before she changed her shoes and slowly walked toward me. "Why are you here?" she asked me. "I came to see you, and to take a look at your fiancé." I sat on the couch, watching her as she walked toward me, until she sat down on my lap. "I've called off the engagement with him. Are you satisfied now, Ramsden?" she questioned me, a hint of reproach in her tone. I looked up at her eyes that shone like black diamonds under the light, her red lips slightly pouting like a cherry, soft and tempting. Her black curly hair flowed down her shoulders, a few strands brushing against my arm. She lowered her head, and we were so close that her scent surrounded me. I swallowed. "Well, I’ve seen your decision. Well done." "And then?" she asked again. "What role are you playing this time by coming to see me?" "Can't I come as a brother?" Upon hearing my response, her expression changed instantly. She moved away from my lap and said to me, sounding a little annoyed, "Until you give me the answer I want, don't come to see me again." I watched her leave, smiling. She was clearly still upset. "So where am I supposed to sleep?" I looked around the small apartment that had no extra rooms and asked half-jokingly. "Sleep wherever you want. Go to a hotel, sleep on the street, I don't care." She went into the room, completely ignoring me. I couldn't help but laugh again. She was still so adorable, still so captivating. I remembered when she was three years old, the day I brought her home. She loved wearing pretty dresses and lovely shoes. She was so cheerful, as if nothing in the world could ever make her sad. It was that side of her that truly attracted me. But accidents always seemed to come before surprises. The company faced a crisis, my father fell seriously ill, and just at that time, she confessed her feelings to me. I didn’t know what would happen to the company’s future, and I didn't want her to bear the pressure with me. I was also afraid of not being able to provide security for her, so I rejected her. She left me heartbroken. I knew where she went and what she did. I had been watching over her all this time, staying in the background, quietly supporting all her decisions and doing my best to lift her up, helping her achieve everything she dreamed of. But I couldn’t accept the fact that she chose a fiancé who flirted with other women and treated her badly. My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. "Come to our company tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock to sign the contract. If you're late, we won't consider your company anymore." It was from a potential partner, a chance I had been striving for to help the company recover from the crisis. So, I had no choice but to leave before she woke up. Before leaving, I couldn't resist pushing open her bedroom door, which she hadn't locked. The wind moved the curtains gently, letting the moonlight fall on her legs. Her legs were long, slender, and enchanting. She was sleeping on her side, with the blanket covering only her upper body. Her sleeping pose was so sexy that I couldn't help but want to get closer to her. Her long, black, curly hair was messy on her shoulders. Her long, thick eyelashes covered her eyes. As she turned over, all I could see was her back, but I could still catch a glimpse of her bare waist, which seemed like it could be easily encircled by just one hand. She was too tempting. I swallowed hard, wanting to cover her with the blanket. But as my hand reached out, she kicked the blanket away with her foot. Her graceful body was displayed before me. She was wearing only a scanty nightgown, revealing her perfect buttocks and the two perfect adornments on her large chest, making it difficult for me to look away. My hand froze in midair, not knowing how long I had been looking at her. As she turned over again, her thighs parted, and I saw the beautiful, blooming flower between her legs. She wasn't wearing any underwear, not even panties! In the end, I couldn't resist. My hand reached for her buttocks, fingers gently caressing her honey pot. She moaned in pleasure, and her legs involuntarily squeezed my hand. I lifted her legs up, using the moonlight to carefully examine her. The pink flower opened again, causing her to wince in pain and let out a soft moan. I kissed her honey pot, soothing her restlessness. My calloused hands roamed over every inch of her body, and she moved her waist in perfect harmony. Soon, I let her go. She was too tired and needed to rest. We still had plenty of time ahead of us, and there would be more opportunities in the future. There was no need to hurry. Finally, I kissed her lips. Her lips were too small, not even half the size of mine. As soon as my tongue entered, it could wrap around her entire mouth, stealing all her breath. But I didn’t do it in the end, afraid of waking her up. When the kiss ended, she let out a soft hum, comfortable, then turned over. And so, I temporarily left here, but I firmly believed that I would be able to bring her back soon. My girl would always belong to me. In the past, and surely in the future, no one could take her away.
